Explore Greece tour itinerary / 6 days
Day 1: Arrival in Athens.
Arrive in Athens and transfer to your hotel. Free time in the afternoon. This evening join a orientation meeting with your local host and fellow travelers.


Day 2: Athens Sightseeing tour
Your morning tour of Athens includes panoramic views of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Panathenian Stadium, the ruins of the Temple of Zeus and a guided visit of the Acropolis. Afternoon Departure for Delphi. After arrival you have free time in the evening, or you can choose our optional tour (National Archaeological Museum). Enjoy a guided tour of the National Archeological Museum of Athens. The museum houses the richest collection of ancient Greek artifacts in the world, and boasts over 20,000 exhibits ranging from the Neolithic period to late antiquity. The museum has undergone some expansions since its opening in 1880 and continues to display some of the finest examples of Greek pottery, weapons, jewelry and sculpture in the world.

After the tour enjoy your dinner at your hotel in Delphi. ( B ) (You can book your dinners in advance at lower prices).

Day 3: Driving to Kalambaka
We offer to you the Delphi Archaeological Site & Museum Tour, or you can spend your time as you wish. Visit the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythias and the Museum. The Museum contains masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture such as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias.

In the afternoon we drive via Karditsa and Trikala to Kalambaka, a small town situated among sandstone cliffs in the foothills of Meteora. Dinner and Overnight in Kalambaka. ( B ) (You can book your dinners in advance at lower prices).

Day 4: Meteora and Kalambaka. Driving to Athens
Spend the morning at leisure in the town of Kalambaka located at the base of Meteora. You can take part in our Meteora Tour.Visit the Meteora monasteries, which appear to be suspended in mid-air perched on top of the huge rocks. View exquisite specimens of Byzantine Art.

You will have free time in Kalambaka before departing for Athens. Continue for Athens past Thermopylae,
arriving in Athens in the early evening. ( B)

Day 5: Athens
You have the whole day to explore Athens, the birthplace of Western Civilization, on your own or you may choose one of the following tours we can offer to you:

1. Full Day Cruise to Hydra Island with lunch. Arriving by bus to Marina Trokadero to embark for a cruise to Hydra Island. Upon arrival, enjoy time at leisure to explore Hydra on your own, or you can proceed to relaxing swim in the island`s clear waters. After that board your ship and sail for via Poros and the shores of Peloponnisos to Aegina, located in the centre of the Argosaronic Gulf. After lunch on board, arrive at Aegina and enjoy time to swim or opt for an excursion by coach to the well-preserved temple of Afea Athena, which can be purchased on your ship. Finally, sail back to Trokadero.


2. Full Day Argolis Tour. Driving along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal connecting the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Continue to Mycenae, the ancient Homeric city of Atreides, to visit the Lion`s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs. Later depart for Nauplion, the picturesque town situated at the foot of a cliff, crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress. Enjoy lunch in Mycenae or Nauplion, and afterwards, continue to Epidaurus to visit the world-famous Epidaurus Theater, considered one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Greece. Return to Athens.


In the evening you can take part in the Athens Night with Dinner. The evening starts with a walking tour of the Plaka, including its hidden features and antiquities. Afterward, enjoy dinner in a local Greek restaurant where you will toast the evening with a drink of Ouzo.*Additional drinks at the restaurant are not included. ( B )

Day 6: Departure.
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. ( B )
